Kidtastic Costa del Sol is a vibrant community dedicated to nurturing the growth and development of babies, toddlers, and preschoolers along Spain’s beautiful southern coast.
Founded by Rebecka Strandlund, a mother of two and seasoned expat, Kidtastic offers expert-led swim classes designed for children aged 4 months to 6 years, emphasising water safety and confidence in the water through parent-accompanied lessons.
In addition to swim classes, Kidtastic provides a comprehensive MiniRentals service, making family holidays and travel easier and more enjoyable. With a wide range of high-quality, pre-loved baby and children’s equipment available to hire, from prams and car seats to travel cots and toys, parents can avoid the hassle of packing bulky gear or buying expensive items for short stays.
Our rental service is tailored to ensure hassle-free, stress-free travel, letting families focus on creating precious memories without worrying about logistics. Meet Rebecka – Founder & Swim Instructor
Hi, I’m Rebecka, the founder of Kidtastic Costa del Sol and mum to two lively little ones. I’m a certified Baby and Preschool Swim Teacher, and I also hold the STA’s Award in Teaching Swimming.
I’m passionate about teaching through play, focusing on water safety, rescue skills, and creating a strong connection between parent and child in the water. My lessons are child-led, relationship-based, and designed to empower parents with the knowledge and tools to help keep their children safe in and around water.
I teach in Swedish, English, and beginner Spanish, and always aim to create a warm, supportive environment for families from all backgrounds.

Meet the team
Monica – Swim Instructor
Originally from Colombia, Monica brings over 15 years of international experience as a swim and fitness coach across Asia and Australia. She is a certified AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety, with additional qualifications in competitive and special needs instruction.
Passionate about helping children feel safe and confident in the water, Monica offers lessons in both Spanish and English.
Julia – Operations & Rentals
Originally from Sweden and based on the Costa del Sol since 2021, Julia is a mother of one. With over 7 years of experience in marketing and administration management, she keeps things running smoothly behind the scenes to ensure that every family’s experience with Kidtastic is seamless and stress-free.
She speaks Swedish, English, and beginner Spanish.
